Released to coincide with Kraftwerk’s forthcoming June 2017 tour - their first UK dates since the breathtaking shows witnessed at the Tate Modern in 2013 - Parlophone are proud to announce the release of Kraftwerk 3-D The Catalogue on 26th May. This is the ground-breaking 3-D Kraftwerk Concert brought thrillingly to life developed using high definition 3-D with Dolby Atmos surround sound and presented to the technological and audio standards one would associate and indeed come to expect from the pioneering Germans led by founder Ralf Hütter. For the very first time, every Kraftwerk fan can now experience a "Gesamtkunstwerk – a total work of art” in the comfort of their own home. Kraftwerk 3-D The Catalogue is released across a number of formats including: Blu-Ray, DVD, Vinyl, CD and Download.

Kraftwerk 3-D The Catalogue is a 3-D audio/video documentary of the Kraftwerk 3-D multi-media art performances in the leading museums of the world. It features 8 classic Kraftwerk albums in chronological order: Autobahn (1974), Radio-Activity (1975), Trans Europe Express (1977), The Man-Machine (1978), Computer World (1981), Techno Pop (1986), The Mix (1991) & Tour De France (2003) - filmed and recorded between 2012 and 2016 on the band’s 3-D World Tour. The locations include MoMA (New York), The Tate Modern Turbine Hall (London), Akasaka Blitz (Tokyo), Opera House (Sydney), Norske Opera (Oslo), Paradiso (Amsterdam), Fondation Louis Vuitton (Paris) and Neue National Galerie (Berlin). These 3-D multi-media performances have been met with universal acclaim from both music critics and art/culture curators, rightfully recognised as complete works of audio-visual art.

Full details of each release and format are included in the Kraftwerk 3-D The Catalogue Product Sheet, and there are some very special physical editions to look out for:

* The Deluxe Blu-Ray/Book edition combines 4 x Blu-Ray discs and a stunning 236-page hardback art-book containing computer generated images from the 3-D multi-media performances alongside a selection of visually stunning unseen photos.

* The Deluxe Vinyl Box Set has all 8 albums across 9 pieces of vinyl (The Mix being double vinyl) recorded across the world and then mixed exclusively by Kraftwerk at their state of the art Kling Klang Studios in Düsseldorf, Germany. The sound quality is peerless; every bleep, synth beat and nuance can be heard with a crystalline clarity.

The multi-media project Kraftwerk was started in 1970 by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider. They set up their electronic Kling Klang Studio in Düsseldorf, where they conceived and produced all Kraftwerk albums. By the mid 1970’s Kraftwerk had achieved international recognition for their revolutionary electronic soundscapes and their musical experimentation with robotics and other technical innovations. With their visions of the future, Kraftwerk created the soundtrack for the digital age of the 21st century.

Their compositions, using innovative techniques, synthetic voices and computerised rhythms, have had a major international influence across an entire range of music genres and musicians: from Electro to Hip Hop, from Techno to Synth Pop, from Drum & Bass to Rock, from Industrial to Kosmische Musik, from Pop to Ambient, from station to station and back to Düsseldorf City.

In 2014 Kraftwerk founder Ralf Hütter was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys.

For their live performances, Kraftwerk – Ralf Hütter, Henning Schmitz, Fritz Hilpert, Falk Grieffenhagen – illustrate their belief in the respective contributions of both man and machine.

Kraftwerk return to the UK & Ireland in June 2017 for a seventeen-date run of their universally acclaimed 3-D live show. This is Kraftwerk’s biggest tour of the UK & Ireland in 25 years.
